In Love with the ‘Lady in Red’
I have been living in this city since my birth. In these 20 years , I have seen her so many times on TV , heard about her from so many people , unmindfully glanced at her from the meter guage electric train as a kid .. and It was only two days back I got up close with her …and yeah ..I was blown into pieces

~ Beautiful and Elegant ~ The Madras High court was built Back in 1892 by the British

A closer look at the stairs

I never knew the court could be so romantic ..

Most poets never miss out on wondering on how the parents of beautiful Girl would look?? Well... Henry Irwin is the Dad of this Indo-Sarcenic beauty.Infact he is architect of other notable British buildings in Chennai.

Classical Tamil Touch - A statue of Manuneedhi Chozhan @ the Court. According to tamil literature, this King hung a Giant bell outside his courtroom for anyone in need of justice to Ring.Once,to his surprise,he found a cow had rung the bell seeking justice.Upon enquiry he learnt that he had ran over the Calf of the cow and killed it. To deliver fair justice,he had his own son killed under the wheels of a chariot as a punishment to himself.
I Kept scrambling at the place – awe struck by the beauty. After having walked the entire court in an hour or so…. I had still not understood its layout .. Obviously the world’s second largest judicial complex would be no simple.

The last snap of the day
~ Finally , If you dont believe in love @ First sight , You Have to see the Madras High court ~
